It is a rare human that manages to bypass some level of trauma in their Soma (body). At some point, distant or recent we have experienced an event, a rupture, a sadness a reckoning that we absorbed and allowed to embody the way we walk through life.

It can get stuck. It shapes who we become. What we believe about ourselves and others. It can make us stronger, more resilient. yet often it holds us in place, when we are yearning to move on.

Somatic Experiencing is coming back into wholeness. Releasing the stored trauma gently and with deep care. Relearning ourselves. Feeling trigger points but not being at the mercy of the experience.

I am trained in Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy and Psychotherapy. I bring both tools and skills to my sessions. The combination of talk therapy and understanding the felt body experience can bring about great awareness, presence and healing.
